Job Overview
Primary responsibility is Design and Development of Fiber Optic transceiver modules, primarily PON OLT. This includes hardware analog & digital circuit and PCB design, some simulations and modeling, and characterization of optical and electrical performance.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is Design and Development of Fiber Optic transceiver modules, primarily NGPON OLT. This includes hardware analog & digital circuit and PCB design, some simulations and modeling, and verify characterization of optical and electrical performance.
Take a technical leadership position in a team of engineers from R&D, Product Engineering and NPI to coordinate all technical aspects of the product design including mechanical, electrical, firmware and optical.
Participate in co-development with teams in the US or TW. Engage with customers for spec discussions, problem solving, and sometimes field visit.
Help on cost reduction activities on PCB re-spin, new components introduction, yield improvement, test time and process optimization.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor or above, prefer Master.
Over 4 years working experience in optics RD industry, preference on NGPON2 OLT.
CET4, good communication skills both in English and Chinese.
